The unified waste management facility was implemented for the first time at the site of the PhosAgro enterprise (VIDEO!)

PhosAgro Group together with the administration of the Murmansk region launched a large-scale project within the framework of the agreement on environmental safety. It is symbolic that directions of environmental protection so important for the region were realized in the year of ecology. Safe Technologies became a reliable partner and supplier of equipment and services for PhosAgro over the years.

Within the framework of the new projects, ST IG manufactured the equipment for the unique industrial waste management facility located at the production site of the mining and processing enterprise Apatit. Industrial waste treatment is based on two technological processes:

• abandoned sleepers treatment at the KTO incinerator,
• low-temperature pyrolysis of spent CAT tires at TDP.

Abandoned sleepers and other toxic industrial waste treatment facility is driven by fuel produced at the TDP plant. Thus, the energy costs for the maintenance of the facility are significantly reduced, which undoubtedly makes the project economically viable.
